Ukraine
21 journalists and activists are known to have been detained and disappeared in Ukraine.
For example, the Russians kept the Ukrainian translator of Radio France for 9 days in an ice cellar, beaten with an iron rod and rifle butt, tortured with electric current, deprived of food for 48 hours and simulated execution.
A total of 22 journalists have been killed since the start of full-scale hostilities.
Victims: 22 people died
