Odesa region

On the night of August 16, Russian troops attacked the port infrastructure of the Odesa region with attack UAVs of the "Shahed-136/131" type. Launches of attack drones were carried out in several waves from the south-eastern direction (Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation, Chauda - temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, Crimea). Air defense forces destroyed 11 enemy drones over the Odesa region.

The main target of the invaders was again the port and grain infrastructure in the south of the region. The enemy managed to strike one of the ports on the Danube. Warehouses and granaries were damaged, a fire broke out, which the State Emergency Service rescuers promptly put out.
