During the day, on May 9, the troops of the russian federation fired on cities and villages of Lugansk region 22 times. There is destruction of housing in Severodonetsk and Lysychansk.

At the same time, the russian troops massively fired on all possible exit routes from the territory of the region thus preventing the evacuation of civilians.

Also, when the Ukrainian police and rescuers tried to examine the buildings destroyed in Shypylovo, in which citizens remain blocked, the russian military opened fire. One of the police officers was injured.
