Starved and slept on the floor: the story of a pregnant medical woman from Mariupol who survived Rus

Military medic Maryana Mamonova from the Rivne region during the exchange of prisoners, along with other Ukrainian Heroes, recently returned from Russian captivity. Now she is already 9 months pregnant, preparing for childbirth and will soon see her parents coming to visit her. Relatives said that there were days when a pregnant woman ate only two apples for the whole day. She said that in the first weeks of pregnancy she constantly wanted to cry and eat, but there was a war around, and she, as a doctor, had to help people, including carrying the wounded.
