231 russian environmental crimes were documented in Ukraine

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of russian federation into Ukraine, 231 environmental crimes by russian army have been documented on the territory of Ukraine and in the Black Sea.

Most cases of ecocide were detected in Kyiv region - 34, Donbas - 27 and Dnipropetrovsk region - 22.

Missile attacks lead to large-scale fires at critical infrastructure facilities: oil storage facilities, chemical plants and warehouses with hazardous substances. Forests and steppes are also burning.
