A lot of people died due to medical care not provided in time: the bodies of hundreds of dead citizens were simply piled up near the walls of hospitals. Russian bombs and shells killed civilians who were preparing food on the street. Sometimes 20 people died from a shell hit at a time. They buried people in craters from explosions, often left the bodies in apartments, carried them out onto balconies.
