A woman was killed and a minor was injured as a result of Russian artillery shelling in Sumy Oblast

On May 10, 2024, starting at 7:10 a.m., using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, the occupiers shelled the civil infrastructure of the Esman OTG of the Shostky district with artillery for an hour.

As a result of an enemy attack, a 64-year-old woman died, her 17-year-old granddaughter was injured.

Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement officers, document the consequences of the shelling. In the future, the materials of the criminal proceedings will be transferred to the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Sumy region.

Victims: 1 killed, 1 wounded.
