Most of the destruction of the housing stock was recorded in the east and north of the country, where active hostilities took place and continue. Russian occupiers have destroyed more than 15 million square meters of Ukrainian housing. Most damage to the housing stock - in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv regions. About 200,000 Ukrainians have applied for compensation due to destroyed housing.
