Hieromonk Parthenius, acting rector of St. Elijah's Monastery in Varvarivka village, rector of Church of St. Theodosius of Chernihiv in Mykhalivka was killed as a result of May 3rd Russian shelling of Mykhailivka villag.
At least 15 religious buildings in the region have been damaged as a result of Russian shelling since the end of February. Ministers of these churches have also been injured.
