Citizens of the occupied Kherson region escape occupation on bicycles riding to the checkpoints of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This is what the evacuation place looks like - abandoned bicycles near a checkpoint in one of the districts of the Kherson region. People were picked up by buses or ambulances.
The military and volunteers are doing everything possible to help people who spent almost two months in the occupation. But not everywhere evacuation is possible by car. Sometimes they cross the river. Often they do it just by bike. Sometimes people have to walk for several days just to save their lives.
