During the Second World War, thousands of Ukrainians saved the inhabitants of besieged Leningrad, supporting the "road of life". After 80 years, their descendants "thanked" the children and grandchildren of their lifesavers arranging for them a "road of death."
The section of Gostomel highway from Bucha to Borodyanka is literally covered with civilian vehicles shot by russian military in which civilians of Ukraine tried to leave for a safe place.
