In just one day she lost her home, her husband and her unborn child: ZDF journalists told the German people the tragic story of a teacher from Bucha
Foreign language teacher Anna Polonska and her husband Anton tried to leave Bucha on March 4th. Their car came under fire. Anton died on the spot. Anna received multiple shrapnel wounds and spent 20 days in intensive care. Now she is learning to walk again in one of the rehabilitation centres in Kyiv. Anna lost not only her husband but also their 5-month-old unborn boy.
Victims: 1 person died.
