Under russian shelling in Mariupol, 14-year-old athlete Alina Peregudova, who was one of the candidates for the Ukrainian national weightlifting team, died. Together with Alina, her mother died.
Last year, Alina won gold medals at the national championship among U17 girls.
“She was 14 years old and she gave great promise in weightlifting. Alina has achieved considerable success. She sought to win the highest level in the future. But the “russian world” came, which “liberated” her from this future ... ", - the message of the Mariupol City Council.
