On the night of June 7, the invaders fired at Bashtanka. The height of one of the funnels left in the city is about 6 meters. Ceilings collapsed from explosions, and load-bearing walls folded like a house of cards. On one street alone, 10 residential buildings were damaged. Russian shelling also destroyed the local sports complex and stadium. Shocked sports veterans say: not a single sports complex in Ukraine has suffered as much as in Bashtanka.
