Destruction of residential buildings and bakery plant in the Sumy region

On March 5, 2022, at about 7:30 a.m., units of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, using means of warfare prohibited by international law, launched an air strike targeted at infrastructure facilities in the city of Lebedin.

As a result of shelling, the building of the former motor pool was destroyed, cars, gas stations and private houses were damaged, the building of “Lebedinsky Khlebzavod” LLC was destroyed.

According to the procedural guidance of the Sumy district prosecutor's office, a pre-trial investigation is being carried out on violations of the war laws and customs (part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
