On the evening of September 11, Russian troops attacked the largest Kharkiv thermal power plant-5, as well as critical infrastructure facilities near Kharkiv. According to preliminary data, 2 people died - dispatchers on duty.
As a result, many settlements in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Dnepropetrovsk regions were de-energized. Power surges were observed in other cities and towns.
