Russia destroyed at least 183 religious buildings in Ukraine

These are churches, mosques, synagogues, educational and administrative buildings of religious communities in Ukraine. Among the structures damaged as a result of an enemy attack: 5 are Muslim, 5 are Jewish, and the remaining 173 are Christian. 22 belong to the Protestant communities, 19 belong to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, three belong to the Roman Catholic Church (RKC) and two belong to the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC). Almost three quarters (73%) of the objects - 127 out of 173 damaged Christian structures, completely or partially destroyed as a result of the Russian attack, belong to the UOC-MP.

The largest number of destroyed religious buildings is in Donetsk (45) and Lugansk (40) regions. After them - Kyiv (34) and Kharkov (25) regions.
