Russia killed 103 Ukrainian children, 400 educational institutions were damaged

Every day, at least 5 children die because of russian shelling in Ukraine. As of the morning of March 16, 2022, 103 children were killed and more than 100 were injured as a result of the armed aggression of russia. Children suffered the most in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kherson, Mykolaiv and Zhytomyr oblasts.

As a result of bombing and shelling, more than 400 educational institutions were damaged, 59 of them were completely destroyed. Most of all destructions took place in Donetsk - 119, Kharkiv - 50, Mykolaiv - 30, Sumy - 28, Kyiv - 35, Kherson - 21 oblasts and in Kyiv - 24. 11 medical institutions, 3 rehabilitation centers, including those for children were also shelled.

This data is preliminary due to the impossibility of inspecting the places where active hostilities are taking place and in the temporarily occupied territories.

Victims: 103 children were killed and more than 100 injured.
