During the 20 days of Russian invasion, 36 settlements were de-energized in the region, 22 of them completely, 14 - partially. Almost 100,000 civilians are left without electricity and heating. Public infrastructure facilities are destroyed to the ground, there is nothing left to repair. As of March 15, 2022, 180 residential buildings remain without heating in Severodonetsk, 11 boiler houses in Lisichansk are disconnected due to lack of electricity and water, and 9,000 customers in Popasna remain without water.
