Among the citizens of Ukraine who returned on the exchange of prisoners, there are seriously wounded, with sepsis, and amputated limbs. Russian soldiers took off the shoes of the captured men, filled them with water, and forced them to put on shoes again, leaving people to lie face down on the ground in the cold for 3-4 days. With frostbitten limbs and blindfolded men were transported first to the camps, and then to the detention centre (SIZO-1) in kursk city, where they were kept without any medical assistance.
Seriously ill people with amputated limbs were transported by russians for an exchange within 5 hours on open cargo railway platforms.
