As a result of shelling by the russian army, a substation and an open distributor with transformers at one of the filter stations of the Popasna water utility were damaged.
Water supply is completely interrupted for an indefinite period in Popasna, Zolote, Gorske, Pervomaisk, Kadievka, Alchevsk, Khrustalny, Anthracite, Lysychansk. About 1 million people were left without water including those living in the temporarily occupied territories.
