"Russians kill people just for fun, for nothing," - refugees from Mariupol share their stories

Mariupol, Donetsk region

People miraculously escaping from the occupied Mariupol tell what the "Russian world" has turned it into during this time.

"We miraculously escaped from there, from that hell. There is no Mariupol. There are only graves and crosses in the yards."

"Katsaps (ed. Ukrainian ethnic slur for Russians) brought humanitarian aid: a litre of milk for forty people, a litre and a half of water for ten people."

"There is only a hole left from the nine-story building. So my wife, father-in-law and I mostly lived in the cellar."
