While the Russian troops are on the left bank of the Dnieper, they cannot send a brigade to the water intake system for Mykolaiv to restore the electricity supply due to constant shelling. Several people have already died while trying to restore water and electricity supplies.

Almost from the first days of Russia's large-scale aggression, Mykolaiv has experienced critical problems with water supply. Today it is the first city in the world where sea water was supplied to the network.
