At the very beginning of the war, a woman was killed by a piece of debris. The young guys agreed to bury because funeral services weren't working. When the guys began to bury the body of the deceased woman, the shelling began. One of them died on the spot, the other the next day from wounds.

According to local residents of the liberated village of Vilkhovka, many young and old people, as well as animals, died in the village - enemy shells hit the farm. The village as a whole also got it - around the destroyed fences, buildings.
