Oleg Baturin, a journalist from the city of Kakhovka, Kherson region, told the details of his abduction by the Russian military. According to the journalist, he fell for a trap call from his acquaintance from Nova Kakhovka. At the meeting point, which Oleg Baturin agreed with the man, a minivan with the Russian military was waiting for him.


After the kidnapping, he was beaten, thrown into jail and asked for information about local activists and rallies against the Russian army. Oleg Baturin was held captive for 8 days.
