During the night shelling of Kherson, russian missiles hit residential areas and civilians' homes.
According to the Ukrainian security officials, on Wednesday, April 27, a referendum on the creation of so called "Kherson people's republic" was to be held in Kherson, occupied by russian troops. However, it was never carried out, after which the russian rederation decided to stage a provocation.
