The shell of the tank base situated in Vasylkiv resulted to the environmental collapse.
On the 27th of February about 1 A.M. Russian troops launched a missile attack to the tank base in the village Kriachki, Vasilkiv district. The result of such direct hit into the fuel tank was the great fire, which could be seen from the distance of 30 kilometers from the fireplace. Air was really polluted with toxic wastes, which is the result of burning also spread to the nearby settlements, situated at the outhskirts of the town.
In accordance with the former estimates of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine the ecological damage to the environmental is at least 810 milliards hryvnias.
