In mid-March of 2022, russian aircraft bombed the residential districts of the city in the area of Chornovola street. There are no military facilities there, only multi-storey residential buildings and a cardiological hospital. russian planes dropped 6 bombs. As a result of this bombing, 49 residents of Chernihiv were killed.
